Are the data of the Romanian population census of 1930 freely available? Interested in the region of Bessarabia, the Balti region.
The data is preserved, yes, but not free and not easily available.

After 100 years, the protection of personal data ceases to apply. Perhaps we will see the data of the Romanian census after 2030 in the public domain :)
Well, you can ask for a copy, in that sense it is public.

That will be nice - it will be, though, through the study room that you will have access to these if they are ever to be made available.
